Ring Rescue Compression Device featured in peer-reviewed medical journal

We are excited to share that the our non-destructive ring removal solution, the Compression Device, was featured in a peer-reviewed case report in the Cureus Journal of Medical Science. This open access medical journal is focused on making published medical knowledge more accessible worldwide.

The case report details the removal of a stuck ring from an injured finger. The finger was injured 10 days prior to the individual seeking medical attention at a community hospital. After failed string-wrap and ring cutting (manual ring cutter and a high-powered rotary tool) attempts by the staff, the patient was transferred to another hospital where they had access to the Compression Device. After three rounds of compression were used to shrink the finger, the Physician was able to remove the ring intact and saved the day!
