How the Ring Rescue Compression Device Works
- Position
Place the Compression Device on the patient’s finger just above the ring. - Inflate
Squeeze the pump until the indicator reaches the teal zone, ensuring the correct amount of pressure. - Elevate
Have the patient elevate their hand while compression is maintained for five minutes. - Lubricate
Apply Ring Rescue Lubricant and gently attempt to remove the ring.
After completing one round of compression, briefly assess the finger before beginning another round. If additional compression is needed, rotate the device a quarter turn and return the indicator to the target pressure zone.
The transition between rounds should take no more than 20 seconds. We recommend completing no more than three rounds of compression, as tissue reduction naturally reaches a limit.
