Weight Gain Stuck Ring Removal
This video demonstrates the removal of a ring that had been stuck for many years due to weight gain over time. Chronic stuck rings are challenging because you are compressing tissue rather than displacing fluid. In these cases, we recommend 3 rounds of compression (15 mins total) to give you the best chance of removing the ring in tact. Nerve Block to Aid in Ring Removal
This video demonstrates a unique technique that can be used when you’re faced with a stuck ring on an injured finger. In this case, a nerve block, which is used in medical settings to provide temporary numbing to a specific area, was used to help manage the pain for the patient. The Compression Device was then shrunk finger size and the ring was able to be manipulated off of the finger with minimal discomfort for the patient.
